How to clean a Rats Tail?

New rats and their tails were a bit dirty, and wonder how to clean a rat's tail?

Some rats get baths about once a month. In between baths just use a washcloth and warm water to clean tails, which seem to get dirty easily.

Or take a wet toothbrush, and some baby shampoo and fimly (but gently) brush WITH the hair (do not pull the hair up, it is very sensitive and will hurt them). Rinse well.

time for a bubble bath...
